  • Supporting the maintenance of effective working relationships with insurers and clients

CLAIMS EXECUTIVE

We are currently seeking a self-motivated Claims Executive who prides themselves on their excellent level of enthusiasm and resilience through any situation and challenge.

You would join our Strata & Real Estate Insurance team and be responsible for:

  • Receiving, recording, and processing all incoming insurance claims for assigned area.
  • Interpreting basic policy coverage and determining if the coverage applies to the claims submitted, escalating issues as needed.
  • Setting reserves and authorising payment within scope of authority, settling claims in the most cost-effective manner, and ensuring timely issuance of disbursements.
  • Identifying suspicious or potentially fraudulent claims, notifying supervisor, arranging investigation, and briefing solicitors if further action is to be taken.
  • Providing information and feedback on claims activity and developing trends to underwriters/risk assessors to enable appropriate actions to be carried out

 

WHO ARE YOU?

The successful candidate must be able to establish and maintain good working client relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.

In addition, the successful candidate will have:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, Property claims preferred but not essential
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines within SLA timeframes
  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills coupled with exceptional written and verbal communication.
  • Advanced attention to detail skills and outcome focused
  • Tertiary qualifications in law will be highly regarded.

Insurance Processor – Strata & Real Estate Insurance (Multiple opportunities)

This position provides support to our Strata Insurance & Risk Solutions team with processing of insurance submissions, quotes, and policies.

We envision the responsibilities of this position to include but not be limited to:

  • Provide organisational support to business operations by performing tasks such as data entry, data consolidation and navigating through multiple systems.
  • Consolidate information provided by our clients, underwriters, and our brokers in Australia.
  • Preparing documents for policy renewals, quotes, invoices, Certificates of Currency, and mapping activities.
  • Cross-checking for valuations, claims histories, mid-term endorsement, emails, and correspondence in file regarding any changes or disclosures about the building.
  • Recording changes made to policy terms and conditions, especially upon renewal.
  • Acting as liaison between Insurers, Account Managers and Strata Managers for any queries.

WHO ARE YOU?

  • Strong analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to organize and prioritize tasks in a service-oriented environment where meeting timeline is of utmost importance.
  • Basic computer literacy skills.
  • Good time management skills..
  • Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of people within and outside the organization.
  • A bachelor’s degree in any relevant discipline such as business. (Highly desired but not mandatory)
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry will be a prerequisite for the Senior position. (Highly desired but not mandatory)

Client Manager (Multiple opportunities)

Honan Asia currently have multiple excellent opportunities for an experience Client Manager to join our team based in Singapore.

We envision the responsibilities of this position to include but not be limited to:

  • Responsible for the maintenance of a portfolio of clients and providing front line client service in respect of those accounts.
  • Provide high standard of client servicing and portfolio management both for local clients and broker partners.
  • Manage, Develop and Maintain relationships with Honan Clients.

WHO ARE YOU?

  • 8 – 10 years insurance industry experience years of experience
  • At least 3 years’ experience managing client or broker partner accounts at a senior level.
  • Must hold relevant industry certification as a Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker or equivalent
  • Relevant tertiary and/or postgraduate qualifications
