We envision the responsibilities of this position to include, but not be limited to:

  • Supporting the maintenance of effective working relationships with insurers and clients.
  • Ensuring the timely and accurate production/processing of task such as invoices, quotes, premium and adjustments calculations.
  • Maintaining the up to date management of databases, information systems and organisation company records.
  • Ensuring the completion of all activities delegated by the Account Manager within determined parameters.
  • Liaising with clients & insurers and addressing enquiries raised.
  • Actively seeking opportunities to improve internal business processes.
  • Gathering relevant client information and identifying key issues to give assistance in negotiations.

In addition, the successful candidate will have:

  • 1 year of relevant general insurance experience in broking, underwriting or claims – highly regarded but not essential
  • Completed Tier 1 – Highly Regarded. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to set priorities and allocate time frames to achieve goals.
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills – Word, Excel and Outlook.

Claims Executive – Strata & Real Estate Insurance

We are currently seeking a self-motivated Claims Executive who prides themselves on their excellent level of enthusiasm and resilience through any situation and challenge. You would join our Strata & Real Estate Insurance team based out of our new Sydney office and be responsible for:

  • Receiving, recording, and processing all incoming insurance claims for assigned area.
  • Interpreting basic policy coverage and determining if the coverage applies to the claims submitted, escalating issues as needed.
  • Setting reserves and authorising payment within scope of authority, settling claims in the most cost-effective manner, and ensuring timely issuance of disbursements.
  • Identifying suspicious or potentially fraudulent claims, notifying supervisor, arranging investigation, and briefing solicitors if further action is to be taken.
  • Providing information and feedback on claims activity and developing trends to underwriters/risk assessors to enable appropriate actions to be carried out

WHO ARE YOU?

The successful candidate must be able to establish and maintain good working client relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.

In addition, the successful candidate will have:

  • 1-3 years’ of relevant experience, Property claims preferred but not essential
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines within SLA timeframes
  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills coupled with exceptional written and verbal communication.
  • Advanced attention to detail skills and outcome focused
  • Tertiary qualifications in law will be highly regarded.

 

Senior Claims Executive – Strata & Real Estate Insurance

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Claims Executive to join our Strata & Real Estate team based out of our centrally located Sydney Office.

We envision the responsibilities of this position to include, but not be limited to:

  • Providing delivery of superior claims service, determining proper policy coverage to conclude, investigate, evaluate and negotiate assigned cases
  • Support and lead team of claims personnel to ensure delivery of service and adherence to best practices
  • Escalation and management of complex and disputed claims
  • Providing technical expertise and mentoring to assist the development of Junior Claims Officers
  • Negotiate solicitor appointment and claims strategy with insurer on behalf of client
  • Develop and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare and issue claims reports and deliver training to clients

We are currently seeking an experienced broker to join our expanding Strata Insurance & Risk Solutions team as a Placement Executive.

You would be joining our newly refurbished Sydney office, we envision the responsibilities of this position to include but not be limited to:

  • Contributing to business growth objectives by development of new business and retention of existing business
  • Managing, servicing, and growing a portfolio of accounts as allocated by Management
  • Contributing with the design, development, implementation, management, and coordination of insurance programs for clients
  • Ensuring client needs are identified and met by taking a pro-active approach to all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients
  • Ensuring appropriate information flow with management so the respective people are kept informed and expectations are well managed both internally and externally
