Honan Partners Snapshot: Q3 FY21

At Honan, we’ve never been more committed to engaging in cultural initiatives that capture imaginations and offer memorable experiences. Over the quarter to date, we have proudly shown up in unexpected places in support of our partners. Here are some of the highlights -

The Design Files Kids Art Awards Program – Presented by Honan

Over the past year, we have been reminded how lucky we are to live in such a remarkable and resilient country. In celebration of this, we wanted to engage the littlest members of the community in an artistic challenge! Partnering with The Design Files, Australia’s most popular design blog, we launched the inaugural TDF Kids Art Awards – an online art exhibition and awards program. We invited kids from all around the country to create an artwork inspired by the theme ‘AUSTRALIA’.

In the words of TDF Founder and Editor, Lucy Feagins, this Honan initiative was “a joyful, inclusive national awards program that we hope will be an inspiring creative outlet for families and kids across Australia…We also feel very lucky to have an opportunity to use this program to raise funds and awareness for Children’s Ground, an indigenous-led children’s charity we have long admired.”

With the 5 talented winners and 15 runners up being announced on May 7 and over 1,500 entries to review, the three expert judges (including Ken Done) have a mammoth task ahead of them!

Global Ballooning Australia | A Love Letter to Melbourne

On a crisp March morning, Melbourne’s skyline welcomed a bold new addition – the ‘Love Letter to Melbourne’ hot air balloon. From an idea conceived by Global Ballooning Australia during Melbourne’s extended 2020 lockdown, the balloon is a bright symbol of hope and resilience for our home city, emblazoned with messages of love and optimism from the Victorian community. We checked in with Company Founder and long-time Honan client, Kiff Saunders to learn about this iconic business and how this project kept the team connected during an unbelievably challenging time – check out the Q&A here.

Old Xavier | Boots 'n All 2021 launch

As a long-time sponsor of the Old Xaverians Football Club, we have enjoyed supporting the Club’s business networking group Boots ‘n All (BnA). Established in 2018 to connect like-minded executives from diverse industries, the BnA group creates numerous opportunities for business growth and personal development throughout the year.

To celebrate the launch of BnA’s program for 2021, members joined us at Honan Melbourne for an evening of networking and a highly anticipated Q&A session with Chris Judd – champion AFL footballer, dual Brownlow medallist, and host of the ‘Talk-Ya-Book’ investment series.
