Six years ago I left Zurich as an Underwriter to join Honan as an Account Executive in our Strata division. From there I took on various opportunities that enabled me to work across different areas within Honan; from Corporate Insurance Risk Solutions to Professional and Executive Risks as well as our international business. In 2019, I was offered the amazing opportunity to move to San Francisco to work with our wonderful Global Partners throughout the USA. Returning to Australia in 2020 due to the pandemic, I accepted the Head of Global Benefits position which reflected my extensive work and relationships with our global partners and networks.
As you might be able to tell, outside work I love travelling and experiencing new places.
As Head of Global Benefits, I design and lead the overall strategy and growth of the Global Benefits Business Unit. I do this in collaboration and with the support of my amazing team which has exceptional experience and knowledge in designing, implementing, and managing Employee Benefits Programs for large multinational clients headquartered all over the world. Our clients predominately work in the technology and high-end finance space. It’s really rewarding assisting and witnessing the growth of our clients while ensuring our Global Benefits team has the right tools and support to continue to evolve and deliver our market-leading solutions and service to our clients.
Technology - As more organisations recognise the value of Employee Benefits as a powerful employee attraction and retention tool, and a way to promote high performance and engagement amongst their employees, the demand for innovative and seamless technology solutions to complement their benefits continues to grow. The rollout of our Employee Benefits Platform enables our clients to have a best-in-class user experience, through intuitive design and customisation, and data-driven insights and reports. This technology solution really differentiates us in the market.
The people - Honan has amazing people right across the business who bring unique experiences and skills to their roles. I am lucky enough to learn from a range of people. By drawing on this collective knowledge and the diversity of ideas, we achieve more.
